The DriveU "Organisation Reflection Model"

DriveU Hierarchical Organisation Profile enables the reflection of the business structure in the DriveU system, as a hierarchical set of workspaces. Each workspace represents a data centre, which includes documents, activities, work queues and roles and access information. Activities are used to construct workflows that provide immediate access to all documents related to the individual activities.
The DriveU User Management Mechanism enables the placement of employees acting in assigned roles at specific workspaces. In addition, each user is assigned a default integrated work environment. The clustering of workspaces enables the DriveU user to simultaneously view and process work originating from different workspaces.
The DriveU Role Management Mechanism enables organisations to define and manage roles. The role definition sets the boundaries for employees in terms of activities and functions that are allowed for each specific role.
